We took a walk down to Ashbridges Bay, Toronto. It was snowy and cold, but the jokes kept coming and it really was a beautiful day!
Monkey Fightin’ Snakes are a band from Toronto, Canada.
We play original soulful blues-rock and ballads.
We were formed in 2011.
We are:
Matt Davies- Guitar, Dobro, Lead Vocals and Songs
Dave Stoyles- Bass, Trombone, Buttonbox, and Vocals
Darren Atkinson- Drums, Percussion, Mayhem, Vocals
We recorded our first album “FINISH WHAT YOU STAR” over 3 days in November 2013. Overdubs and mixing were done in December 2013, and it was mastered in January 2014.
A few artists who have influenced our sound are: The Who, Cream, The Beatles, The Small Faces, Jimi Hendrix, Ravi Shankar, Derek Trucks, Gov’t Mule, and Crazy Horse.
